SimSwitch™

SimSwitch™ software provides a complete simulated hardware switch, which can replace any existing and future hardware based switch chipset. SimSwitch™ was developed to be close to bit-exact and 100% API compatible to the target hardware switch. This allows for development, integration and testing of the target hardware switch with CoreSwitch™ Network Platform while the actual hardware may still be under development.

CoreSwitch™

CoreSwitch™ Network Platform is a scalable, robust and standards-based Layer L1, Layer 2 and Layer 2+ switching software solution. Its modular control plane functions are packaged in an architecture that is fully integrated with the underlying switching silicon’s Software Development Kit.

The object-oriented approach allows vendors to select any subset of the Switch⁺⁺ functionality they require and to easily integrate existing and new applications to address market- and customer-specific requirements.

CoreSwitch™ allows OEMs and Network Equipment Manufacturers (NEM) to easily and rapidly incorporate networking capabilities into their new and existing lines of communication products.

TestSwitch™

Switch⁺⁺ offers an automated testing framework and unit test cases that exercise all CoreSwitch™ Network Platform functionalities. Implemented in the intuitive Python scripting language, test cases may be easily extended and new test cases can be written by the user to exercise user-developed functionality. Run a full regression test nightly to catch problems early, prior to becoming a costly fix later in the development cycle. Test execution is fully automated for the utmost in efficiency and productivity.
